
Issou Chopsticks Tsugarunuri - Faint cloud
Technique originated in the city of Tsugaru, northern Japan. Mixing ancient Nanako painting and Kara technique, creates a traditional utensil with a modern design touch.

*URUSHI is made from the sap of a plant that grows in Japan, China and the Southeast Asian area. It is used as a natural coating agent. Because URUSHI is a natural material, it is harmless. Besides, it has been used from ancient times because of its beauty and durability.
In Japan, it was already in use during the Jomon period (B.C.10th century) on bows, arrows and combs. It has also been used on important Japanese cultural assets like: Horyu-ji Temple, Chuson-ji Temple and Kinkaku-ji Temple.
Its mysterious luster and dignified hue give it a charm that depends with time, attracting people of all backgrounds.
